TRAVEL
We recommend flying into Geneva or Zurich and taking the train from there to Zermatt. Usually the best international flight prices are available 2-6 months before the trip. Zermatt is a car free city, the easiest way to get there is by train. You will not be able to drive a car to Zermatt, if you rent a car you will need to leave it in Tasch and take the train the rest of the way to Zermatt. Depending on the rest of your travels, it might make sense to purchase a travel card for the trains - the SBB website (Swiss train) is linked on the pictures below with more information and ticket pricing.
